The Entry-Level Diving Course for kids is often called Junior Open Water Diver. Usually there is not big of a difference to a “proper” Open Water Diver Course. Nonetheless, most of the time there are special rules which apply for kids while diving, such as a maximum depth. As soon as you reach the minimum age for an adult course, your Junior Open Watercertification will automatically be renamed.
When can my kid take the Junior Open Water?
In general it is possible to start with your first scuba diving experience at the age of 8 to 10 years. Enjoy it!
