Second Stage

The first stage, as mentioned previously, is followed by the second stage. As can be seen on the picture, several connections of your diving equipment belong to it. For all these connections, the system regulates the pressure from your compressed air cylinder via the first and second stage down to the respective ambient pressure reigning above or below water. Thus you do not only get your breathing air supplied upon request via your regulator and octopus, but also by using your inflator.

What else belongs to the second stage of my diving equipment?

Last but not least, your finimeter is also supplied with air in order to show you at all times how much compressed air is still in your cylinder.
